Pre-K, TK & Kindergarten

Lower School (Grades 1-5)

Middle School (Grades 6-8)

The years in Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten lay the foundation for children as students and lifelong learners. Our early education teachers are well versed in the developmental stages specific to this age group and work to instill an excitement about learning in a nurturing and stimulating environment. From their flexible, open classroom design, to the daily schedule that carefully balances academics and playtime, each component is purposefully designed to inspire students to think critically, express themselves creatively, and find joy in discovery.

Elementary School Educators develop an unstoppable love of learning in our students through a complete, balanced, and inspiring curriculum.

As students grow in maturity, their opportunities to interact with the larger school grows as well. Beginning in the third grade students can join The Garden Club and Lower School Choir, run for Student Council, or be part of the school Spring Musical. In fifth grade, they transition from being a 'little buddy’ to taking on the role of a 'big buddy’ to an eager Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten friend.

Our Middle School program is designed to guide students to be open-minded, responsible, and lifelong learners who will make a difference in their world.

Each day, students strengthen their foundational knowledge of the five core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Spanish, while being guided into more complex and higher levels of investigation. Computer literacy and digital citizenship are integrated throughout the curricula. The study of Art, Music, Physical Education, and Religion round out our balanced middle school academic program.

"Saint Andrew's Episcopal School is the hidden gem of the Bay Area. A key differentiator for SAES is their faculty, the school has a strong team of teachers that bring in a wealth of experience not just in teaching academics but also in building character and helping the students become the best version of who they are."
